Privacy Policy

Pagewise ("we") provides a Chrome extension and the pagewise.dev website. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Account data

When you sign in we store your email address and authentication identifiers via Auth.js. Payment details are processed by Stripe; we store Stripe customer and subscription IDs.

Page context

When you ask a question, the extension may send the page URL, title, selected text, a DOM excerpt, and optionally a screenshot to our servers so we can generate an answer. We use this content only to fulfill your request. You can disable screenshots and full HTML capture in settings. Sensitive patterns (emails, phones, cards) can be redacted before upload.

AI providers

Requests are processed by our AI providers. Do not submit secrets you are not comfortable sharing with those providers.
